Something we’re very excited about at Dragon Fruit is drone photography. Our fully insured drone pilot flies drones with high resolution 4k video and photo capabilities, and we provide you with the original video and photo files. See below for some of the applications we’ve used it for.

Roof/Chimney/Gutter photography
Avoid the need for dangerous ladders by using drone photography. We pilot our state-of-the-art lightweight drone around your roof and capture video footage and images. You can use these videos to look at the health of your roof, what’s nesting in your chimney, or where the blockage in your gutter might be.
Landscaping and Garden Design
When it comes to visualising your property and land, what could be better than having a snapshot from the air? You can use the videos and photos we take to help guide your designs and inform your landscaping plans, giving you a unique perspective that is unattainable from the ground. We have even used this to look at crop progression for farmers!

The legal aspects of drone photography
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has a website dedicated to the rules of drone operation.
Our drone pilot is registered, qualified, insured and fully respectful of the CAA rules. We mainly use a sub 250g drone as they have a lot more freedom and flexibility, with less restrictions due to their smaller size and weight. We are able to fly larger drones too - these have tighter restrictions which require extra consideration, so please do get in touch to discuss your requirements.
